The 73rd Annual Meeting in SATS was a success – see the award winners

The 73rd Annual Meeting in Scandinavian Association of Thoracic Surgery (SATS) held in Reykjavik, Iceland 17-19 September 2025 was a great success.

The Board would like to thank all participants, speakers, and industry sponsors for taking part in the SATS meeting and making it possible. The SATS meeting was held 17-19 September 2025 at Harpa Conference Center in beautiful Reykjavik in Iceland. It included talks, panel discussions, oral and poster presentations, and exhibitions.

Winners of the oral and poster sessions were Carlos Magnus Rabelo, Reykjavik (poster), Elin Gatzinsky, Gothenburg (oral), Valdemar Rømer, Copenhagen (poster), and Jenny Backes, Örebro (oral).
